The Northwest region provides care in the heart of the Pennsylvania Wilds. The area provides countless outdoor recreational activities while offering a low cost of living.
Penn Highlands Healthcare is a growing and financially stable healthcare system with 9 hospitals that cover 39 counties in PA.
Prospective applicants will be comfortable working at all of our 4 local emergency departments. All facilities are within 30 minutes of Dubois.
Penn Highlands DuBois -28K annual ED patient volume -New state-of-the-art ED that opened mid-April 2023 -44 rooms with 4 trauma bays -Level II Trauma Center -360 bed hospital -8,9,10 hour shifts -36 hours of daily physician coverage and 24 hours of daily APP coverage -New state-of-the-art neuro trauma ICU Penn Highlands Elk -14K annual ED patient volume -Critical Access Hospital -12 hour shifts -Single Physician coverage with 12 hours of daily APP coverage Penn Highlands Brookville -8K annual ED patient volume -Critical Access Hospital -12, 24 hour shifts -Single Physician coverage Penn Highlands Clearfield -16K annual ED patient volume -Critical Access Hospital -12 hour shifts -Single Physician coverage with 12 hours of daily APP coverage Incentives / Benefits: -ABEM certified physicians $270/hr + $30/hr shift differential -Great benefit package -25k sign-on bonus -10k relocation -3k + 40 hours annually for CME -403b with 4% match -Malpractice and Tail coverage
