As you know, a 3.4% cut to Medicare physician reimbursement went into effect on January 1, 2024. Senators John Boozman (R-AR) and Peter Welch (D-VT) are circulating a letter asking Senate Leadership to address the 3.37% Medicare physician reimbursement cut that went into effect on January 1, 2024. The letter stresses the importance of addressing this cut and highlights the impact it has on physicians and patients. (Click here for letter)
If you have a direct contact office in either of your Senators’ offices, please share the attached letter to Senate leadership and ask them to sign on by this Thursday, February 22. If you do not have a direct contact in your Senators’ offices already, you can easily send a message through ACEP’s Action Center. Please let us know when you have contacted your Senators, and the response.
