PACEP Open Call for Presenters!
The PACEP Education Committee is excited to accept submissions for speakers and presentations for our 2026 Scientific Assembly, which will be held April 30-May 2, 2026 at Kalahari Resorts in the Poconos. Our conference theme is "Our Community: EM Practice in PA". This concept highlights the diversity of emergency medicine practice across Pennsylvania, including rural and non-academic settings. We aim to create a program that resonates with all EM physicians, and to create a welcoming environment to come together in fellowship to catch-up, network and recharge. Click here to view a list of topic ideas that have been generated around this year's theme - other topics and ideas are also welcomed! We are looking to provide thirty 30-minute lectures. All ideas are welcome; past applicants and presenters are encouraged to apply; share this with your colleagues. This is also a great opportunity to earn scholarly activity and gain exposure! Submit yoursession idea(s) today - the deadline is August 31, 2025. Potential speakers will be notified by the PACEP26 Scientific Assembly Program Chair, Jason Burkett, DO, FACEP by October 15, 2025. Note: While we cannot cover honorarium or travel expenses for your session, we do cover registration to attend the Scientific Assembly.
